Do the AC motor carts automatically brake when you let off accelerator?
Trying to adjust the brakes on my 2010 Star, I can't tell if I have them too tight and they are holding back the cart or if the AC motor has a braking or gear down feature when you let off the accelerator.. anyone know? Thanks

Re: Do the AC motor carts automatically brake when you let off accelerator?
So the AC carts should have what’s called regen, short for regenerative braking. When you let off the gas, the cart knows you want to slow down so the motor uses your momentum to create energy, ultimately slowing the cart down and putting charge back in your batteries. It’s a good thing, has nothing to do with the brakes themselves.
