Default Re: Jakes LT lift kit

I chose the Jake's Long travel due to one of my struts being bad, so in my situation yes. I saw no reason to spend $250 on a new strut for 1 side and 6 months later have to spend another $250 for the other side. When I can spend a extra $150 over the cost of 2 struts, gain the lift I need to accommodate the tire combo I'm running and replace everything under the front end with the exception of the steering gear box and hubs...... Over all I've been pleased with the overall quality with the exception of the shock bushings, which I'm waiting on Jake's to replace under warranty. Seems the kit I got had the shocks from a bad lot of bushings.

The local cart shop here tried to talk me out of lifting my cart because they had not had good results lifting Yamaha Carts. Come to find out the main issue was carts lifted with spindle lifts, they maintain a narrow track width which makes these carts somewhat easy to tip over.. As you will find out the Jake's LT kit moves the wheels out almost 5+ inches from the stock width which does make these cart very stable .
