Crankshaft size g9
HI I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT A[B] G9 CART IT IS IN PRETTY DESCENT SHAPE THE GUY TOLD ME IT NEEDED A TOP END AND WOULD RUN FINE.. SO I TEAR INTO THE ENGINE AND WHAT DO I FIND BUT THE ROD BEARINGS IN A MILLION PIECES IN THE BOTTOM OF CRANK CASE ALONG WITH THE OIL SLINGER, SO NOW IT LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO BUY A NEW CRANK AND ROD WELL PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING, I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE WOULD KNOW THE SIZE THAT THE CRANK SHAFT NEEDS TO BE WHERE THE CONNECTING ROD BOLTS ON? THE REASON IS BECAUSE I AM GOING TO TRY TO GET THE CRANK REMANUFACTURED AND THEY WILL NEED THE SIZE TO GRIND IT DOWN TO. THE CRANKSHAFT IS SCORED UP AND I REALLY DONT WANT TO BUY A NEW ONE AS THEY ARE OVER $200.. IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME OUT HERE IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP. |

Re: Crankshaft size g9
Crank journal size is 1.258 to 1.259
But I think I would look in the parts for sale section. There are a couple complete engines for sale there. |

For the money you will spend you could put a 16hp clone conversion in
