Re: need new lights for my double take cart.
I gather yours is from before they switched to all LED. I'll have to check when I get back to the shop tomorrow. I did find a bulb online. At that time the Polaris bulb was $61 my cost, so I didn't even try that.

Re: need new lights for my double take cart.
Thank you. My other question is does the new LED light fit into the headlight housing that I could splice a new socket and all in?

Re: need new lights for my double take cart.
Can you post a picture of the bulb you have and the base, and the socket in the lamp housing? The only thing I'm seeing for a 502 is a screw in type base like an old-school Mag Light would use.

Re: need new lights for my double take cart.
Glad you found the one that worked.
That appears to be a model# 4831920 manufactured by JW Speaker. A quick search of their site didn't show any alternatives for that bulb, but I'm sure if someone got in contact with them they may have an LED replacement available. If nothing else at least for the time being it appears to still be widely available through several distributors. JW Speaker manufactures OEM lighting assemblies for many different companies, including Club Car. Often times those lights do not have an industry standard identifier number such as a 4656, 9007, H11, etc. like most automotive and household bulbs have due to their lower production and lower usage. It can make it difficult to find replacement bulbs for those because often they have to be purchased through the original equipment supplier. |
