Re: Weird steps to no go
Update on testing the removed MCOR 4 - full range 7.5 ohms? - one side 6.1 - other side 1.4 (both sides jumping around a little). Switch was difficult to show open and closed - had to twist hard to open switch and received a mixture of readings when moving the accelerator tab. What do you think?

Re: Weird steps to no go
Put the shaft end carefully in a vice and turn the housing body by hand. And yes, it is hard to turn. The ohmmeter leads should be from center pin to either outside pin. Use alligator clip leads.
One way it will be zero to 5000 and the other way will be 5000 to zero as you rotate the body. The ohms should be smooth and not jumy as you turn the body. Put your ohmmeter leads on the two terminal outlet. That is the switch and it should be simply open and closed. |

Re: Weird steps to no go
Removing the MCOR is unnecessary until you know if you are not getting voltage to the controller.
The throttle limit switch has to give the controller 48+ signal in order for the controller to allow the solenoid to engage. With Key On, Check for 48V reaching the controller Pin 6, Green wire, when the throttle pedal is pushed. XCT IQ diagram for reference https://alltraxinc.com/wp-content/up...Q-WIRE-DIA.pdf |

Re: Weird steps to no go
Thanks for the info. I have removed the original MCOR 4 and will be replacing it with a new one. Should arrive today. Only took about 15 minutes to completely remove the original. Will update the results.

Re: Weird steps to no go
He already has pulled it out. See post #8. This is for checking the old mcor's switch and wiper trace now that it is out.

Re: Weird steps to no go
Hooray!!! On the road again!!! Summary of symptoms and fix:
Turn key on - loud click from solenoid - alltrax blinked 5 times and stayed on - pushed go pedal and alltrax started to blink rapidly - no movement what-so-ever. Replaced MCOR 4 with a new one - ALL IS GOOD!!! - no loud click when turning key to on - press go pedal and solenoid clicks and off we go. Perfect! Thanks for all of you who chimed in with advice. |
