Re: Night vision hog hunting
When I started night hunting I was using 1st+ generation night vision which really wasn't up to the task. I tried a big flood IR illuminator but at night it caused a lot of "sky glow" blinding me to anything beyond 50 yards. In the end I bought some IR 18650 flashlights. They would go about 2 1/2 to 3 hours on a charge. I would go out and set them up and turn them on illuminating the target area. Then I'd go back to my shooting location and wait. Eventually (sometimes) the animals would come back out and with the illumination only in the target area the setup worked well enough.

Re: Night vision hog hunting
+1 hate hogs. They cause so much damage in my area. I know nothing about night vision but looks like either of them should work good!
