Default Rear seat kit and springs

I just bought my first golf cart. It is a 1998 E-Z Go TXT Shuttle. I know nothing about golf carts but I am learning. I want to add a rear seat kit to it. The rear seat will be used by two adults. I know it is advised to upgrade to heavy duty rear leaf springs. My question is do I need to upgrade the front leaf springs too, or just do the rear? I have found numerous videos on replacing the rear springs but none on how to replace the front ones.

You don’t have to mess with the front at all. [emoji106][emoji2532]

Not much weight on the front.

Unless the fronts are "sagging" (very rare) the stock ones are fine.

If/when you look for rear springs, I would go with a "progressive" type spring..
Just getting a HD rear spring kit makes the ride of just 1 or 2 folks very harsh.

Here is the one I used on my 98 Txt, and YES you will need to replace the bushings, Im sure most of yours are worn or even missing.......

Plus one on the progressive, sometimes called dual action, rear springs.
