EZ GO Textron solenoid problem?
Hello!
I just joined this group and need some help with a possible electrical problem with my EZ GO Serial # 381540 Manuf. Code: 86M13. She was completely dead this morning. Batteries are new and charged, the cables are clean and secure. I suspect the solenoid. I examined it and saw a wire that appeared frayed--if one is looking down at the solenoid from the passenger side, it is a black wire running to a small cylinderical part. The terminal next to this one has no wire, while the last two are connected securely to wires running somewhere. I have never had a problem with the cart, and have used it for over one year. My questions are:1) How do I know what solenoid to purchase, and 2) What is the black frayed wire and how do I purchase one of them? Thanks very much for your help! Aram |
