Default How to clean the insides of CC

The Club Car I got came from Palm Desert and it is full of sand, dirt, etc. under the floor matt and bottom of the bucket. How safe are the electronics if hosed down with water. I know they can be driven in the rain, but that is different from hosing off the batteries and washing mud from the tire wells. The one thing I already love about my 2008 CC is the bucket is all Plastic. I had a 1996 CC and a 1999 Yamaha and while I had protected the battery terminals from corosion many other parts corroded including the hold down bars. There is 2 hold down bars in the 2008 CC and I'm going to remove those and make sure they are protected with good paint. Any recommendations???

I hose mine down weekly or as needed. I take off the seat and spray the batteries and all between the batteries. When the battery bucket only has clean water coming out of the bottom, I'm done! All of the electronics are under the plastic center cover and they never get wet, the way its designed!

I use a hose om my 03 series cart, but I try not to get the electrical stuff wet. A couple of times somthing got to wet and it wouldn't run. I let it sit for a couple of hours and everything was good to go, I've been doing this for 3 yrs.
