pre 2000 Club car DS no Roof seat bracket.

I have a mid 90's electric club car and it's had the roof removed (struts cut off). This left the seat's without any structural integrity. I'm looking to see if there are seat braces that are used for the pre 2000 DS (double seat pads) that are available after market to provide structural support for the seats.
Otherwise I'll need to fabricate something..

Are you are referring to the aluminum seat back supports that were part of the original bag support?

If so, you can try to locate the steel A-frame that comes with rear seat kits for the pre-2000.5 Club Car DS. That A-frame provides a mount for the old front seat backs and the new seat back.

I'm not sure if that part is available individually but it would be easy to make one out of 1/8" x 2" steel flat stock.

You will still need to use the aluminum seat back brackets that came with the original setup that bolt to the seat backs.

It would help if you would post a photo of what you now have.

Look around on craigslist or Facebook. People take them off all the time to install rear seats. I had a complete assembly I gave away last week just to get it out of my garage.

The newer style will fit your cart fine as well. The backing in your seat cushions is just plywood so it isn’t hard to adapt if you find a newer style or I’ve also seen single piece seat backs from the newer style for really cheap as well, like 20-30 bucks
