48v EMP DC Motor and 500 Curtis 1268
I am considering a move to AC and wanting to put some feelers out on my motor and controller that I would end up selling.
Motor is a DA8-4013 designed by Chuck at EMP. It was designed for 30MPH in high and high torque in low (25mph.). It just came back 1 month ago after a fresh overhaul. 19T out of a Star but I believe these also fit EZ-GO?.?. I was told these come out of the limo carts. They do have all heavy duty components where able. Controller is a Curtis 1268-5501 500 amp. I believe my application is more suited to an AC system. I usually have a full cart, wife and kids, and put good mileage in everyday. I’m hoping to achieve an increase in range, better efficiency, and decrease my amp draw. I’ve have a bit more than $1300 in the set including the overhaul. Receipts available. |

Any particular asking price or are you just looking for offers. I’m looking for a 48v motor for a 2009 ezgo txt, but I’m not familiar with how to confirm that would fit.

Do you have any details on the motor other than the model number?
