Default ISO of rear Axle Marathon 90's

Hello All,

Im looking for a rear axle to put on an 85 electric marathon. It doesn't have to be a marathon axle as long as it can be modified to fit. Problem is i'm lifting and no one makes a motor for this year to go faster.

Looking for an early 90's rear EZGO marathon axle no motor.

Thank you all for looking

If you choose to go the new rear axle route then be prepared to do quite a bit of cutting and welding of spring perches, shock mounts, and bolt saddles along with rerouting of brake lines and I'm sure there's more.

You do have other options to go fast.

Don't know what kind of speeds you're looking for but a combination of volts and wheels and tires along with the appropriate drive system can make you pretty quick with your existing motor.

It reminds me of a member many moons ago who had a custom signature that said something like, "Volt it till it spits solder out the vents".

Oh, and yes i have a TXT electric rear end but I'd bet freight is a killer tho....

Good luck!

Thanks @pggroves what i didn't mention in that post is that I'm doing a custom 10" lift which already has me welding and making all sorts of stuff. Ill send you a PM regarding the txt alxe.

I've done some research regarding the volts and lithium batt system but I gotta say it's not my strong suite. I also want something permanent that I wouldn't have to swap out motors every so often.
Taking out the motor was a task on its own.

Let me know your thoughts on this though?
