Wiring New Key Switch
My '02 DS (pedal start) appears to have an aftermarket keyswitch installed (picture attached). The lugs on the replacement switch are not labeled. I need to replace the switch because the Cart starts regardless of the key position. From what I can tell, the OEM switch terminals are quite different than my current switch.
Is there a keyswitch wiring diagram available for an '02 DS? Also, does anyone know if a '04 keyswitch is the same as '02? I don't have the original OEM PN. |

Re: Wiring New Key Switch
Looks like a factory switch to me, but I can’t tell if the wire colors to see if they are connected in the right places.
A factory key switch should have a 1, 2 or A, B labels And M+ and M- labels. M+ will be the White/black stripe wire. M- will be the Black wire. 1 or A will be Blue wire and Yellow wire if present. 2 or B will be Red wire. |

Re: Wiring New Key Switch
The DS key switch has been the same one from about 1992 to 2011
