Re: Robin EH29C
Ok, I will do that. Almost thought it was a lost cause. By chance does anyone have or know where I can get the manual? I dont know the year either. Of cart or motor.

Re: Robin EH29C
Thanks for the info. Should I order stock parts or aftermarket stuff? My air filter has oil on it. Belt is cracked, and plugs fouled.

Re: Robin EH29C
Ok I ordered new parts. Still trying to figure out how to check valve clearance.

Re: Robin EH29C
YEP! Oil in the filter box and low compression leads to intake valves being tight, or just plain worn out. Remove the black rocker cover and count the amount of threads above the locknut on the inner two rockers (followers) If a lot more than on the outer two, you may need to replace the intake valves. You can try adjusting them to .004 first as trig shows and see if it improves, If so it is safe to run till you get around to changing the valves. If the amount of thread showing is not much more than the other two, then adjust and you are good to go.

Feeler Gauge. Some good videos on you tube on how to adjust.
