How to fix rusting problem?
I live a half mile from the ocean so as you can imagine, my cart has a little rust to its frame. I want to take care of the issue before it becomes too out of control to fix. What can I do to stop it from rusting. Do I simply just get rid of the rust and add a coat of rustoleum? Or are there better ways to solve my problem? I have an EZ GO cart so it's a steel frame obviously.

I live in Surfside Beach and as you know this salt air will eat at your cart. I appreciate the advice and I will look into it right away. Thanks

Re: How to fix rusting problem?
Salt will not rust aluminum. But it will corrode it!! Here in Pennsylvania where they dump tons of salt on the roads in the winter, nothing beats a few coats of rustoleum on anything metal. Don't be cheap....put it on heavy. Rustoleum will last for many years if applied right. Well....that's on metal other than aluminum. You CC guys are on your own!!

Por 15 is a great product. You cannot hardly beat it off with a hammer. We use it on restorations of classic cars and bikes. Also great for the battery structure.
