Default Humdinger Refresh

I decided it was time to do a refresh to my Humdinger cart that I picked up a year ago. I've done some minor work to it (4" lift, 25" tires, new stereo, fake supercharger, etc.), but it's time for a frame-off restoration and upgrade.

I've already ordered the Navitas 60A 5kw AC kit that should get it to really scoot on down the road, and I will be replacing all of the brittle, old wiring and updating it to the IQ system, and all of the lights to LED.

The frame will be completely polished and the fiberglass body will get a fresh new look, as well as new seats, dash, steering wheel, etc. All of the steel parts will get powder coated and the hardware will be replaced with stainless or grade 8 fasteners.

I had so much fun restoring my Harley cart that I can't wait to get to work on this one. Hopefully, it will have better luck than the Harley cart and a tree won't fall on it when it's all done...

Looking forward to this build thread! I finally found a 2000 humdinger electric club car and will hopefully be doing the same. Can't wait to learn from you and pickup some tips and tricks!

Where did you find that supercharger? Is it completely static?

Well, hopefully you'll learn from my mistakes - I seem to make a lot of them.

I found it on eBay. It's just a fiberglass shell.

Haha we all make mistakes no worries. I'm interested to see how quick the navitas ac system makes it? Any plans for the lead acid batteries?

I am going to go ahead and prep it for the 160ah "P"-version from RoyPow. I've got the 105ah in my Precedent and I really like it. Just going to have to wait and see what kind of abuse my wallet is going to take from this refresh.
