23" tires on a 3" lift?
Anyone have any experience with putting a 3" lift on Yamaha G29 then running with 23" tires? Concerned that I should have gotten 22" tires. I can't go taller than 3" lift as I need to get into my garage.
Help, I'm a golf cart rookie zm |

For our Drive2 dealer said it would rub. We have 23s but a 6 inch lift and no rubbing.

Not sure if gas and electric are the same but I think they would be. To the best of my knowledge from literally hours of searching on these forums you should be good to go except for the rear of the side plastic piece which has to be trimmed for even 22’s. If you haven’t already try searching the forums and you’ll get your answers with examples. I like to type key words into google and last type buggies gone wild and you should get a lot of hits. Hope this helped.

I don't think it is going to work very well. Even worse if you have a rear seat on it.
I just had 22" tires on a DRV II with a 2" lift and they did fit but there wasn't enough clearance to do anything. |

Here’s my 2016 Yamaha G29 gas with a 3” lift and 22” tires. They fit fine with no rubbing and we mostly ride off road, sometimes with rear passengers. I think you may have some rubbing with 23” but not sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So I went ahead and did it. 23" tires on a G29 with a 3" spindle drop down lift.

Cart looks good. How do the tires fit now that you've got it done.
