I used a similar filter. It's just an in-line filter. I think there are only 3 wires there. You ground the black to the black wire and/or the body of the golf cart, then the red (+) wire connects in-line to the "line" side and the yellow would connect to the other "load" red (+) that goes to the eco-x-gear.

So Battery (-)/Chassis ==== Black wire
and Battery (+) ===== [Red] Filter [Yellow] ===== EcoXGear Red (+)

What to install sound at on roof cross bar in the middle between front and back seats. Are the rook support poles hollow, so I can run the cables in there?
