Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
That is the exact cooler I got, i may end up cutting the handles and remake them with a rope to make it easier to get out of there but I’ll see how it goes after a few uses. here is a pic of the cooler stand I built. I got lucky with the cooler because it’s almost the exact height of the frame cross member so it was a pretty simple job. And here are the headlights

I really like the way they look on the cart. Only $24 and those halogens are gone!

Got those LEDs and got them installed. They are perfect for this cart. Hasn’t gotten dark enough to see the light output yet but they’re worth it just for how they look in the daylight.

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
It’s been a minute since I was able to work on this thing, I hurt my shoulder and lots of rain have held me back. Anyways enough complaining. I managed to do a bit of work on my rear bumper/step. When I bought it, the step was just globs of fiberglass painted to help with some traction. I was messy and did not look very good so I cut all that crap off and put a piece of diamond plate. I got it a bit wider so I was able to close up the gap I from the cart to the step. It’s about and inch now.

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
Started working on the battery area and controller area getting ready for the new pieces. I cut up an old aluminum sign and this is how it turned out so far. I still have to order the controller and solenoid but now I have a clean slate to mount things onto.

Re: 1st Cart: PCX-956 SHUTTLE
Well, quarantine and internet can be expensive. So...here is my new battery, I’m going with 14 Gen 2 Nissan Leaf batteries, ZEVA BMS and I still need to get a charger, controller and solenoid, but progress is progress. Next step is to start wiring up the BMS to the batteries. Along with all the rest of the things that go to it.
I plan on installing not upright in the middle of the battery tray, and it should just fit without having to modify it. |
