Default Brake drums will not come off

Ezgo txt brake drums will not come off the axle. Any good idea's how to free up these without a lot of damage?

remove the castellated nut......then use you favorite penetrating oil between the shaft and drum.....let set overnight. using either a rawhide or soft faced mallet, tap on the back side of the drum at the outer rim.

and believe it or not.......make sure the parking brake is released.

Have you backed the shoes off all the way using the star adjuster accessible through the hole in the drum ?

With the castle nut off and on jack stands. Put a wheel back on and rotate back and forth while pulling

Can also take the brake cables loose. Sometimes they have just enough tention on the pad to not slip past the groove from the pads

Plus + on making sure the brake is released. I fought one for 20min before realizing my Duh moment.
