Default 07-14 G29 rear transaxle oil change with rear flip seat.

Changed the rear end fluid on two yamaha g29 carts today that still had the factory fluid. 3-4 years old and the oem fluid was a little dark but no sign of any metal shavings. Both carts have a rear flip seat that bolts through the frame in the bag well area. So removing the bagwell panel is too much of a chore since the rear seat would have to be removed as well.

Here is the funnel I used that has the long hose attached, has lid for the funnel, and has measuring units printed so you know how much you add in the funnel. The blue part twist to let the contents flow down the tube or stop. It was 4$ at Wally World but I'm sure all autoparts store will have it.

I just sat the funnel beside the solenoid under the access panel that says yamaha on it. The transaxle uses 44oz of wet brake oil with friction modifiers. You can get the fluid at the yamaha dealer. I poured 24oz in the funnel and let it drain into the fill hole in the transaxle then added 20oz to finish up.

Very easy. Just fill and walk away.
