Default 14 Precedent battery light flashing

I purchased a 2014 Precedent last weekend. I rode it for a little on Saturday and the battery light came on. I charged the battery until the charge light was solid green. The next morning I drove it down the drive and back (800 feet) and the battery light is flashing. It has the original set of batteries. I measured the voltage and had 51.8 volts. What does a constant flashing battery light mean?

Is that still an OBC cart or does it have the ERIC charger?

It has the ERIC charger. I've also checked the water level and checked for loose battery connections.

Constant flashing means the cart thinks the batteries are below 10% charge. They may very well be failing if they're original batteries. Did you measure the battery voltage while driving?

Try flipping the tow/run switch to tow, disconnect the pack negative and positive cables for about 30 minutes. Reconnect the cables then flip the switch back to run position. See if that resets the controller and makes the light stop blinking.

Thanks for the information. I haven't measured the voltage while driving. I'll do that tonight and see what the reading is.

It also comes in at 20%..... So it has two trigger points, 20% and then 10%.
