Buying a used cart, have a couple different options 2011 RXV or 2013 RXV
I am buying a used cart from a friend who deals carts on the side. He picked up a fleet of RXVs from a country club outside of Chicago and has a couple of other options available.
Here are the 4 carts I'm looking at:
The 2013 & 2011 are the fleet carts from the country club. In great shape due to non-use in winter. Both will come programmed for the 19.5mph. The 2005 TXT is a cart he picked up that needed some repairs. He is in the middle of going through it, he was replacing a bearing/axle or something on the left rear when I was there today. This cart has upgrades to make it much faster. The previous owner claims it will do 28+MPH, but my friend hasn't tested it yet. It sounds like it has different gearing and definitely has a different controller. It shows a lot of use, aftermarket tires are on their last leg, and there is a tear in the driver's side seat. The Club Car I don't have much detail on. It has a non-factory paint job, everything else looks standard. I'm looking for a cart to keep and use 100% at the golf course. I'd prefer a faster cart as I'm often in a rush to play a quick 9 or 18 and get back to get some work done. Hoping to have the cart for a long time. Any recommendations, considerations, or questions I should be thinking of? Which cart would you go with? |

I go with the 2013 RXV, that will come with a Curtis controller.

Agree with collector. 2011 is danaher controller and replacements are currently unavailable apparently. If there is an issue you would have to convert to a Curtis $$$ or possibly Navitas.
TXT's of that age are 36v unless converted by someone. |

Yeah I'd take the 2013 also. The RXV is a good cart but a different animal when something goes wrong.
Golf cart for the golf course, LOL...what's that crazy talk! |
