Ezgo gx444-3 71-76 voltage regulator problem
I purchased a what I was told is a 1980 ezgo gx444-3. I have recently found out that it is actually around a 71-76 cart. My problem is put a new battery in drove for 3 weeks no problem. Now the battery is totally dead. So its probably not being charged. Through my research I know the voltage regulator isn't available any more. When I Google searched it. I found a link to a post on this forum talking about the same problem I have. A user named 1fast67 (i think) talked about a conversion to install a new voltage regulator. That was in 2015 so shot in the dark but anyone know what this conversion is? Thank you all for your time.
