Then you don't need a regen controller. Alltrax AXE or NPX models.

The model I was looking at is the DCX400 regen programmable ,is this the correct one for the 99 TXT ?
Is yours a regen or series cart? YOU can tell is your f&r switch on the dash or on a handle on the rear body?

So I guess what I am asking is I would like to put the controller in that has the least amount of work to it and extra parts that need to be updated .I know I have to upgrade the cables to 4 gauge and I am hoping that is it with say a 400 or 500 amp unit .

The Alltrax NPX 4844 is a good choice for stock replacement. 400A. 48v capable. Nice boost in torque over stock Curtis 275A. No speed increase unless you change tires/wheels and/or add voltage.

Yes Scott is correct I do have an aftermarket motor ,I bought the largest motor I could at the time without having to replace the controller "turns out that didn't work so hot" .So between the GE 500 amp unit and the Alltrax dcx400 which would be easiest to replace ?Hey thank you everyone for the help much appreciated .

OK master66 listen up. You seem to be stuck on the DCX and you have to let that go.
You have a series wound system. The DCX models are for shunt/sepex systems and WILL NOT WORK on your cart.
Stick with the AXE or NPX models of Alltrax or the GE.
Just MAKE CERTAIN the controller is for a SERIES WOUND motor and is setup for the correct throttle input.
