Re: Cushman Truck info needed
Nice looking truckster!
If you can find the vehicle identification plate below and to the left of the steering wheel look for the vehicle model number, which will be a 6 digit number, a dash, and ,then 4 more numbers,. The first 6 digits are the model number. The two digits following the dash are the year of manufacture. The first 6 digits are also stamped in the frame. The easiest place to find them on the frame is above the left front wheel on the black bumper frame. To me it looks like a mid to late 1990's truckster, but I can't identify it closer without the full model number. Sometime around 1991 they began using 3 cylinder water cooled gas engines instead of the OMC 22 hp engines commonly used in the 80's and until about 1991. I had heard that they also made a diesel truckster, but I have no personal knowlege or experience with them. Can you get pictures of the motor? Charley |

Re: Cushman Truck info needed
It looks like the Kubota 3 cylinder diesel. They are considered to be "very reliable" and are used as an alternative to 18-22 hp gas engines in commercial lawn equipment.
Any info on the model number? Charley |
