The aluminum centrifugal clutch bolts directly to motor and and fits into flywheel/drum locking up into it...flywheel/drum has pressure plate bolted to it with a additional clutch disk that locks up onto it...clutch disk is splined onto tranny...driving the rear wheels on a 18hp omc truckster. So can I pin centrifugal clutch to flywheel drum without burning threw clutch disk's or is the disk just for shifting on the go?

the centrifugal clutch was just to make it easy on the golfers when running round in the 735 carts. You didnt need to push clutch pedal in for stopping or taking off.
the pedal clutch was used for shifting gears from F to N to R.
the centrifugal clutch was said to be a problematic part and most got removed.....
Id love to have 1 for my 735

the pedal clutch will hold up just fine if the other is not used

Well it looks in good shape except for the bearing. At this point I'm just going to have to find a bearing with same ID and bigger OD and mill it out. How would I eliminate it without just locking them together? I plan on putting my cushman ice cream truck body on it and just want to putt around at an idle so I don't need it. If I can eliminate it without haven to move tranny forward I'd swap somethin for it. I also have a curved window truckster cab (no front window) to swap. Maken trailer out of truckster bed to tow behind ice cream truck.
