Testing the speed sensor cap??
Is there a method of testing the speed sensor cap when it is off the motor? I have three used caps that that I believe are still good and wonder if there is an ohms readout to test them before I toss them.

Re: Testing the speed sensor cap??
If you have a 5v power supply and a small magnet you can put on a drill, then yes.
Just checking resistance will not tell you definitively if it’s good or not. |

Re: Testing the speed sensor cap??
You can't check it that way You will need a pull down /up resistor , 15 volts And a two pole magnet it is a latching hall effect.
