Default Clutch spring replacement 2014 ezgo L6

Hi everyone. My clutch spring failed (see pic). The cart is used under heavy load in the hills of in the Canyon Lake, TX. The stock spring failed and wondering if anyone has had real experience with some of these springs purporting heavy duty or high torque versus stock and if there's a specific product you'd recommend.
Thanks!

The whole principle of how the power springs work is they hold the clutch closed longer, forcing it to stay in a “lower gear” which helps torque especially on takeoff. They do work. Better if coupled with a HD belt.

And only picture you have looks like texas

It’s not hard to change a spring. Only takes 10 minutes

Looks like you broke it a HD / torque spring would probably do you well as long as the sheaves aren’t dished out

I rebuilt mine with GBoost parts, I am west of you near Helotes and our hills are even more extreme than yours. The difference is night and day plus if you get the tools from GBoost to rebuild the clutch it is easy. I replaced drive and driven springs, buttons, and new belt for less than a new clutch will cost you.

The hill in front of my house is 12% grade. I need something that can handle the grade with a full load. Did you lose much on the top end speed.... don't want to turn this thing into a high torque 10 mph cart...
