Default Any one ever ordered from this website?

Hi all, first of all I hope this is allowed if not please delete the post. I am trying to find out if a site is legit or a scam. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they had ordered from this site? I’ve been looking for a front cowl for a Yamaha G16 and haven’t much luck finding a used one or a place that said they can get me a new one even. This site says they are available but most places they are not available (backordered) I was thinking of ordering it but their site has a pop up that keeps asking if I want the page translated to English (it’s already in English) makes me think maybe it’s not a domestic site even though the address they provide is in Quincy Illinois it sorta gave me an uneasy feeling. This is the website

Thanks, James

I’m gonna say scam.

TNT golf carts is a reputable business but I don’t think that’s their website. This is their website https://www.tntgolfcar.com/

Using a Whois lookup that url you provided was only created about 6 months ago. Seems suspect to me.

Interestingly they use the correct address and phone number for the real place.

Either way, scam or not, if you think it might be a lead call them. I’d use their real site

The phone numbers and addresses match so I'd say TNT owns multiple websites. It can (or at least used to) help with online search engines to have something so specific as "yamaha golf car parts" in the web address. Plus, people may find it easier to remember than "tntgolfcar.com".

I doubt it but it’s your money. You asked. I’m just giving you some facts so you can come up with your own decision. You’re an adult it’s not my job to tell you what to do or not to do.

But facts are:

Tntgolfcar.com has been registered to them for almost 20 years.

The site you linked about 6 months.

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with search results. But hey, I could be wrong. I’ve never ordered anything from either site. But I have used tnt’s website many, many times for parts diagrams to find part numbers and wiring diagrams.

I’ve seen scammers set up websites that are exact duplicates of a real company, phone number and all. They don’t care if you call them. Once they have your credit card number they’re done with you. It’s not until the poor sap that ordered something from that site calls the company, and finds out there is no record of them ordering anything that they realize the website was fake.

Thank you all, if tnt is legit I will just call them tomorrow I was worried tnt was a scam even. I didn’t want to give my debit card info out thinking it would be compromised. If the site had a pay pal set up I would have felt much more comfortable. I’m new to golf carts and all my local Yamaha places have said back ordered. Acausing I am in western NY about as far west and south as you can get without being in Pennsylvania or Lake Erie lol. Any leads on that one would be great incase this doesn’t pan out. I had found a used cowl in Pennsylvania but the seller doesn’t want to ship and it’s 4.5 hours each way. He offered to meet me 4 hours each way but I’d rather spend a little more and not waste a whole day driving. Thank you all, James
