That suggests that, at least originally, your cart was a key start instead of a pedal start. That changes the wiring a bit.

Best and only thing I can suggest if it’s been hacked and modified, carefully follow the wiring diagram to make sure everything is in place, hooked up correctly, and has continuity from end to end, one circuit at a time. You know which circuit you need to follow and haven’t seemed to answer my questions as to where it is losing ground but I would focus on that first.

Without either videos or pics or having the thing in front of me, there really isn’t a magic answer other than doing your due diligence and checking it over one circuit at a time.

Holy hell some wiring ninja had their way with that poor thing.

It looks like your carryall is a 2010. I’ve never had one that new so I don’t know for certain if the wiring is the same as the older style with the shifter under the seat… I’d assume so or at least close but don’t take my word for it. Surely someone here has a diagram that fits your cart.

If it were mine, the first thing I always do is remove any wiring that didn’t come there from the factory. Which would include your spaghetti mess in the black box. If someone tried to convert it from pedal start to key start it looks like they bypassed the negative trigger to the solenoid, there may be a toggle switch or something in there somewhere they used to send ground to that side, and disconnected all the factory circuit to the pedal switch.
