Default 2006 G22E Slow

I have a G22E that arrived at my house from one of my friends. It didn't move in either direction. I did a reset using the tow switch and it then would move sluggishly forward. And in reverse, it also moves sluggishly forward. I have the service manual but it doesn't really troubleshoot this issue

Start with the batteries. Measure voltages and then measure under load.

1) Low voltage will make it go forward when the switch is in reverse?

2) Do 6 - 6 volt batteries hooked in series equal 48 volts? Doesn't seem right

3) And I'm pretty sure that the batteries in the attached picture are hooked up incorrectly.

6 X 6 = 36 in the math that I was taught. :-) The batteries look to be connected correctly. They are all in series as they should be.

You're right, the left hand battery is hooked up wrong. It may be reverse charged if it was charged in that configuration.

It's got 36V of batteries (if all were in correctly)
