Target deer
Im after the buck laying down. Also another 10ptr looking good. These are Georgia deer, cant compare to those mid-west deer.
Good luck this season. |

Nice, just knowing he's out there makes hunting more enjoyable! Good Luck!

Re: Target deer
Yours looks a little further along in the growth than ours up here. I've seen a few larger deer, but they're all still in velvet here.
Regardless, I'm waiting on turkey season... |

Re: Target deer
On the 100 acre parcel where the owner gives me the only permission to hunt (yes....I am blessed) I hang my trail cam's. I plan on going to the plot soon to see what's going on. But this guy made it thru last seasons archery, rifle, and flintlock season. I'm hoping he's still around for the upcoming season this year.

Re: Target deer
BTW....in the last 4 years, these are the bucks I've taken off his property. I didn't hunt much last year so I didn't whack a nice buck. Had chances for smaller one's but passed. (I'm an old guy and just getting picky these days!)

Re: Target deer
Archery season starts here tomorrow. I dont bow hunt. Too hot, too many bugs, and too many snakes. Hope to spray my food plots next week. Plant near 1st of Oct. Good luck to other hunters.

Re: Target deer
I got these two roaming the area that I hunt. I'll take either one if I get the chance....but honestly.....I really would like to take the ten point!!
