While I'm waiting for the belt and exhaust manifold to come in.......I'm looking at all the wiring next to the battery under the plastic box cover

I'm going to try go delete, remove, and cleanup as much of the wiring as I can

LED Light bar and a small winch is the only aftermarket electrical items, that have their own switches and should be ran directly into the fuse block panel I installed

The only other thing I'll have go check is the switch and wiring for the electric power hoist for the utility bed

I have a fused junction box already installed for various accessories

My project goals:

By February 1, have the correct belt installed and the engine positioned and set in place, and fully bolted down

By February 7, I want the exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe and muffler fully completed

In February, I also want the choke, throttle cable, and F/R lines all ran and hooked up and functioning

The remaining time I want to have the engine electrical all wired up with the key switch

Looking for muffler suggestions.......don't want anything obnoxiously loud nor annoying

One belt (47") arrived, one not till Monday

I'm heating up the garage now, going to unbolt the engine and remove the small 42" belt and see how the 47" belt helps

If its all good I won't even bother with the 46" and I'll get the engine aligned and tightened down

Exhaust manifold should hopefully be here next week so I can start mock up with the exhaust

I'll need a muffler and some flex pipe

I have new exhaust gaskets and some Permatex copper high temp sealant. I should have the manifold mounting bolts laying in the parts bin

I'm going to wire wheel the manifold and cost it with some high temp primer and paint

I have the longer belt and it definitely helped to push the engine forward

Should the belt be tight or have slack in in, whe resting in the valley of the two clutches?

Is this where the 12.50" bolt spacing comes into play?

47" belt installed and lined up, billet plate bolted down and so is the engine

Yes, I did have to remove the engine and flip the plate, again

The slots in the plate are adjustable just depends which position the plate is

I installed a Dorman 15" ground strap, that was $8

Bolted it to an unused thread hole in the block and ran it to a bolt in the frame crossmember

I also removed the stock EzGo air intake baffle, to get more air flow into the engine bay

I'll cover the pop rivet holes with something, maybe just new pop rivets

Now I want to focus on cleaning up all the wiring and removing unnecessary wires

I need to add a ground from the battery to the frame also

Can this be removed???
