Your cart appears that it would have substantially less wind resistance

Yeah it probably does. It’s also ridiculously stable and safe feeling to drive. It’s very heavy and the weight is very low, and then it has unique steering and front suspension, unique to the G3 Sun Classic. There are stabilizer bars going from the front suspension arms to the front bumper, a foot or two in front of the front wheels. That’s not possible on a normal cart where the outermost part is the front wheels. That’s why is drives and steers so smoothly.

My understanding was the G3 used the same suspension setup as the G1 but now that sounds to be very incorrect. any chance you could post pictures of the suspension setup as I am now very much intrigued

I got the 86 G3 Gas and working on it now after letting it sit in my backyard as a project for over 8 years. I like that rear seat idea as mine will never be used as a golf cart anyways. Got a link to where you got that set up?

I’d love to see pictures of yours sometime. It’s a GTW kit for an EzGo TXT. Pretty sure it’s the older version of this one. I did that years ago! It has held up great though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/29373617574...mis&media=COPY

Thanks for the link. She's a work in progress. Bought it 8 years ago and just now getting her back up to speed. Body needs some glass work, but I think I'll leave it for now, just did some polishing today while waiting for some engine parts to come in.

Hi Luke, I’m converting a Sun Classic too. Read the whole thread, including where you said you got the lights working. How’d you wire your lights? Original connections, or another way? I started another thread asking for help with lights, but if you have info to share in this thread, that’d be awesome.

I don't know why this forum won't let me post a link to a thread on another forum. Are we that possessive of free memberships?
