![]() You do not disconnect the resistor across the solenoid for these tests.

![]() Anytime I see a problem like this my first thought is ..'Batteries are low"...to rule out the batteries ..put a voltmeter across the batteries then check what the voltage drops to when going up an incline....

My batteries are still under warranty, bought them earlier in the spring so if they are bad I can get them replaced for free. |

![]() Before you installed the F/R switch, did you check continuity across the terminals? Mine was sneaky that way.

![]() Just straight across from front to back to be sure the connection is made with no power to it. a new switch should be fine, but if the nut in the center isn't tight enough there may not be contact.
If you still have your old one, take it apart and you will see that the brass contacts on the part that turns make contact with the wired terminals on the stationary side. That was what was wrong on mine. That was what was wrong with mine. |

Based on all my tests I think my problem is controller. I'm going to order one and cross my fingers! Jason |

![]() The sticky's tell you steps to check the SX controller and ITS but none tell you how to properly diagnose the F&R switch. Does anyone have this info?? Thanks in advanced
