Default Onward usb

Factory usb charger is bad. I have power to unit but not continuity between terminals.

I’ve seen post where people have a bad one but never a situion or replacement to fit same hole. Any ideas?

Is it an odd shaped hole or something? Do you have a picture of it?
Usually if I need to cover a gap on a panel I make a small filler panel from ABS sheet or stainless and screw it on to cover the hole. The new device can then be mounted to the cover. Or if the hole in the panel is smaller than the new device you just enlarge it so the new part fits.

I agree with FT. There’s tons of options for usb ports online, if nothing else just enlarge the hole and put in a generic one. They’re only a few bucks. I put one in my DS just for the purpose of filling a hole where an old battery meter used to be that I no longer need or use. I don’t think I ever have, or likely ever will use it. But it looks better than a hole

I have a tempo and my OEM went bad also which is the same as the onwards. I bought a USB from Amazon with a cover. I did not cut the original hole. the original hole catches the sides of the nut used on the round USB and holds it just fine. Was 20.00 compared to around 140.00 for the OEM usb and the one I bought came with 2 so I have a spare. It is a little tough to get your hand behind the dash to tighten the nut. You could mount to plate then screw plate into dash if you wanted to.
