![]() On my 1987 Par Car, I just got my new throttle cable from Vintage Golf Carts and I need to transfer the spring, washer and the cable shield. Now I am not sure if the cable shield is screwed on or if it is just rusted on. If someone has changed one over, I need to know if it is screwed on or just rusted on so I don't wreck the threads by trying to pound it out or whatever or wreck the shield in a vice.
