![]() I live in central SC and well off the road. I have lots of wild grapes along the edge of the yard and at the time of the year when they're falling they draw the deer in like a magnet. I enjoy watching them graze but I'm not a hunter. I do love venison though. Friends who do hunt drop me off a tenderloin every now and then.

![]() I don't put a name on them because I have different kinds. Some are purple and some ripen at a golden color. I've heard people refer to them as muscadines and scuppernongs, ( and some of my old time country friends call them scuffy dines) and I don't know the difference. I've been eating them since I was a grasshopper and they have a good sweet taste, but to me they're wild grapes. Whatever they are the deer love them.
