Most important components when restoring Gas G2
Hi all,
I'm restoring my late fathers 1989ish Gas G2, I live in New Zealand and I'm ordering parts from USA so ideally I'd get most of what I need before I start. I'm planning a full strip down is there anything experienced members suggest replacing? I am already ordering new clutch/exhaust/king pins from Plowmans carts. Thanks in advance. |

Does the cart run now? I would consider buying a new CDI ignition box. They are know to go bad after this many years on them.
I bought mine from Vintage Golf Cart Parts. |

The gas cap cover is an important part believe it or not. The cap is vented and acts nicely as a funnel so when it rains you’re almost guaranteed to get water in your gas tank. Which is not great for proper engine operation.
