I had HD's on my cart when I switched to lithium. The springs had 4 leaf's in each side.

So, I simply removed the two shortest springs on each. Now down to 2 spring leaf's per spring and my kidneys send me a christmas card every year.

Great idea, I'll have to look at mine. The Christmas card reference is funny.

I never replace the shocks . They seem to last forever.

I agree about working on carts in cold weather. I haven't been to my shop since the first week of December and don't plan on going back until warm weather is here. Good luck
