Default Rxv 48v Battery Voltage reducer

I ordered rxv led kit, and voltage reducer. However after looking Online I am wondering if there is a specific negative and positive I hook it up to or if I can use any negative and positive on the battery. I thought you had to use specific negative and positive but all the wiring diagrams I see are for 36 volts. Thx!

Hook negative to battery pack negative, and the positive to the large post on the solenoid (from solenoid to controller). Post pics of your batteries & controller area & I'll illustrate for you.

This will get you switched operation, so converter is only on when key is on.

Please open controller cover & take a pic of the solenoid so I can add the B+ wire.

You can do that, but this will turn the reducer off when the cart is off, eliminating the parasitic draw from the reducer when you may not need it. This is how you wire one that turns off with the key, so you dont have to cut into the keyswitch wires & destroy your controller.

Can I hook up multiple 12volt items to the same 12v reducer? Or do I have to by a single reducer per addon. Example 2 reducers for led lights and USB port. Or can I hook both up to only one reducer?
