2002 DS 48V throttle clicks, only runs intermittently
This cart was just handed down to us. It has brand new batteries. It ran fine on two 3 to 4 mile trips in one day recently, then suddenly wouldn't run at the bottom of our street's hill. Now, after a full charge, I can make a turn or let off the throttle, and the throttle might not work the next time I press it, while still driving. I hear the solenoid (probably) click, but no fwd motion.
I just tried a reset procedure at [google: tidewater golf carts reset club car] , but I gather from the forums that we have a Sepex and this procedure is not the right one. I may replace the MCOR. Any other ideas? serial number:AQ0203-112658 controller # 003130 Thank you for your time, Brett |

Are you sure it’s the solenoid clicking and not a micro switch? Connections are tight? How old are the batteries?

I'm not sure about the solenoid vs. switch. I know both work about half the time, and the one clicking seems to work all the time.
The batteries are brand new. Battery connections, at least, are tight. Thank you for the feedback! |

Not a expert and my first post on here. Sounds very similar to what my 03 DS was doing. I replaced the mcor module and that fixed it. Might be worth a shot.
