marathon charging?
I've had it running about a week now.Todey I rode it for two hours stoped and started it three times.Checked battery voltage before 13.6 when I quit it was 12.1.It is supose to charge right?How do I check to see and where?

It is supposed to charge. Jack the rear end up off the ground and run the engine with a digital volt meter on the battery terminals. Voltage should go up to around 14 to 14.5 volts running around 3/4 throttle. If it is not that high, it is not charging at all. If it it higher(15 +) it is overcharging and damaging your battery.
The fix would be th change out the voltage regulator after all the wiring was checked and clean connections were good all around. |
