Doubletake Bodies for Club Car Precedent
I see several people talking about some colors of the Doubletake OEM-style replacement bodies for the Precedent having a metallic or pearlescent look. Can anyone tell me which of the Doubletake colors have a metallic look? I am particularly interested in beige (gold), bronze, or graphite (gunmetal gray).

I got the Double Take Spartan body kit for my DS rebuild in “Sky Blue” as it matches my boat... my OCD kicked in and I determined that all my toys will be matching colors. The body is pretty solid and the body fits perfectly. The color is not really metallic though. It definitely has a glossy finish but I haven’t peeled off the protective plastic coating yet.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't tell from their color chart if the bronze was metallic or just a dark brown.

I don't know if these pics will help, but they are of of actual samples of body colors given to dealers. The beige has no metallic, silver is metallic, the bronze, has very little metallic and the white (pearl) has metallic sheen. One pic in sunlight the other with a passing cloud. Hope this helps. Their bodies are great. I have installed 6 or 7, lost count.

I emailed Double Take and got one of the Bronze Samples that PingEye3 has. I am sure they would send you one too. As state the bronze has a slight metallic look. It shows up more in the sun but not so much in the shade. If you aren't changing the body style then I think I have seen where Club Car has put out some metallic body kits. I bet TahoeDawg can tell you what is available.
