Default 2015 Yamaha Drive Primary/Secondary Clutch? Rattling/Metallic Noise

So my 2015 Yamaha Drive is close to brand new. It has about 4 hours on the cart. It was a showroom cart when I bought it almost 3 years ago.
This project started back then but I had a couple surgeriez that delayued completion.

Anyway Finally finished the electrical the other day and wanted to take it out for a spin. It hasn't been run in about 2 1/2 years. Kept in the garage.

So I pulled it out today threw it in Neutral and started the gas slowly at idle to break it in slowly....increased gas to roughly snails pace and then up to about half throttle....everything smooth as can be like day 1.

As soon as I get to about 3/4 pedal to the floor it starts this rattling sound like there is a screw or a piece of shrapnel being tossed around and around a metal coffee can. Only way I can describe it.

I took the Primary Clutch Cap off to peak inside but I couldn't see anything loose.

I am not 100% sure where the noise is actually coming from.

How can I narrow it down?

Might check to see if the muffler tin heat shield welds are broken.

Is that just the cylindrical portion surrounding the muffler you’re talkin?

I will take a look in the morning thanks

I am not seeing any broken welds or anything loose.
To me it sounds like it coming from around the primary clutch.

How do take off the primary clutch cap completely to get a better look? I don’t have the spaces to wiggle it off after I remove 3 screws holding it.

If I can get it off can I run the engine to see the innards at work?

So maybe I am a complete moron. I’m not sure yet.

But before I was going to dive into removing the clutch today. Let me just drive it and see the difference. Yesterday I just tested it in Neutra/Maintenance mode or whatever you want to call it....

So I took it for a slow ride the got up to speed and cruised.

Not a single noise. What the crap?

So I’m not gonna mess with it.

But anybody have a clue as to why????

On 2015 cars, I've seen the drive belt separate causing clutch vibration and noise.

2015 and above mufflers have the outer shield bolted on, totally different muffler than early years. Greasing the clutches would be my recommendation as that's a common issue, especially if the cart has sat for so long. If the belt was the issue, you would see the top of the belt slapping around.

If it ever acts up again I will grease the tit maybe 1 or 2 pumps.

I highly doubt it’s the muffler at all. All welds and bolts are fine. The whole engine looks brand new and is just storage is all. Weird wild stuff
