Default The Time Has Come - New Controller - Build It With Me

Ok,
The time and $ has come - to upgrade my controller, wires, solenoid...help me pickout what I should get (notice I said should not need... )

My use is a people mover, typically two adults, and 2 kids, running a few miles around the hood, to the pool, lake, etc so it's all on road. I have a 6" lift with 23" tires, Stock ADC motor, 4x12 Battery config on a 2006 DS.

The neighborhood has some steep hills as it's a peninsula and drops off the the lake. Elevation change I would say is somewhere in the 100' range within a few yards say 50 or so. Topo maps show the lines stacked right on top of each other. Again these hills are short lived and not everywhere - it's not in the mountains - outside of Charlotte NC.

I want enough torque to pull the hills respectively as it's legal to drive on the streets here and many of us do, but I'd also like speed to be 25ish so as to not impede cars too much.

I know I want the alltrax xct controller due to it's tuneability (can you do it with a Mac?). Should I get the 400 or 500a version (and back down the 500a to 400a as I don't plan on getting a new motor till this one burns up)?

What would be the best setup for what I'm trying to achieve (speed/hills 4 people)??

For a series cart with 23s, hills, 4 passenger use nothing short of :

SR48500 controller
400a solenoid
HD F&R CC92F
2g cable set
Admiral A1 motor

jbsmith05,
One of the questions you asked was about programing the Alltrax Controllers with a MAC.

No unfortunately you can not.

Buying my first Alltrax controller prompted me to take my old "dead" Dell laptop out to a repair shop. It just needed a new hard-drive, about $150, I have my dedicated Golf Cart tuning P/C, and did not give up my MAC.
