Default Studdering / Jumpy Throttle

Hey guys - I have noticed I get a studdering / jumpy response from the cart at times; probably more like at a 3rd/peddal and sometimes at slower/less peddal. It more or less is jumpy in the acceleration/constant pedal. Does this sound familiar to anyone, or are there some suggestions to areas to begin to look for the source of this problem?
