2015 Precedent motor noise
Ok guys done some research on this noise my motor is making noise and cant find how to install the Motor Centering Kit - AM10039 before i buy one . Can someone lead the way .2015 48v Precedent thanks in advance

The parts slip on the shaft. Flat washer>spring>washer>rubber bushing cone side facing motor.

After having the cart on the lift and listening to the motor spin i do not hear the noise and the motor bearing sounds fine zero noise so im going to try just installing the kit minus the bearing have you ever come across what im explaining the motor is super quiet with no load on the input shaft could it just need the kit minus the bearing ?

please explain to me since you have done a few of these how does this kit center anything just cant get my head straight in the design ..I have ordered the kit also

The procedure described here is for the old GE motor, not the ADC motor used in Precedents.
There is no bearing retainer plate, the bearing is pressed in the motor end cap. They also list a motor bumper and not a guide ring. Did You check with RevolutionGolfCars to make sure that kit includes a compatible motor bumper part # 1022352-01? |

What kind of noise is it making? Motors that require a centering kit tend to make a rattle or chatter sound at certain speeds or light loads. Not something I would think to be a problem on a 2015.
You may have bigger problems if a cart that new is rattling. |
