Default 95 club car wont charge after a boo boo.

Hello all,

Here is what I have done last week I replaced all the batteries on my 48v Club car while I was hooking up the lights I accidentaly dropped my socket wrench and it struck 2 of the positive posts on the batteries. The cart still runs however te charger does not work on it I have tried other 48 volt chargers and they do not work either. I have also tried the charger on another cart also and it still works.

Any help would appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

I checked the inline fuse the 3/8Amp in the yellow sleeve which was still fine did not pop (double checked with an ohm meter. The two batteries which I dropped the socket wrench on was on the front one located on the front drivers side & middle driver side in front. I should have taken pictures.

Thanks,
Rich

It is a glass fuse with 2 bolt up connections.... 60amp?
Very Club Car specific, don't think you will find it anywhere else?

Hey all,

I went down to the campground this weekend and looked at the cart again I took out the fuse at the plug level was not blown (not the inline fuse) cleaned off the connector and reseated it along with cleaning off the connections and plugged it back in. I also retightened all the cables and that seemed to fix the issue.

Thank you for all your help with this one.
